HUMO and Mongol ID Sign Agreement on Cross-Border Payments

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 March 2026, HUMO and Takara Solutions, a subsidiary of Mongol ID Holdings, signed a memorandum of understanding in Tashkent to advance cross-border payment solutions between Uzbekistan and Mongolia.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mongolia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Batbaatar Daadankhuu and Komila Khamidova, Trade Adviser at the British Embassy in Tashkent, highlighting the international significance of the partnership.

In the initial phase, the cooperation will focus on mutual acquiring, enabling users to pay for goods and services with HUMO cards in Mongolia and Mongol ID instruments in Uzbekistan.

In the future, the parties plan to ensure QR payment compatibility, creating new opportunities for cashless transactions and enhancing convenience for both citizens and businesses.

The initiative aims to simplify cross-border transactions, promote the use of cashless payments, and strengthen financial collaboration between the two countries.
