Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- For hooliganism (intentional neglect of the rules of conduct in society, associated with battery, causing bodily harm or destruction or damage to other people’s property, causing damage in the amount of 22 million 300 thousand soums to 66 million 900 thousand soums) the following types of criminal penalties can be applied:

- a fine in the amount of 11 million 150 thousand soums to 22 million 300 thousand soums;

- compulsory community service up to three hundred hours;

- correctional labor up to three years.

If this action is committed with resistance to a representative of the government or the public, performing the duties of protecting public order, or to other citizens suppressing hooligan behavior, shall be punished by restraint of liberty from three to five years or imprisonment from three to five years.
