Hilola Umarova Appointed as Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Hilola Umarova has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education, responsible for the development of teacher education.

By the corresponding presidential decree, Hilola Umarova has been confirmed in her new role as Deputy Minister while continuing to serve as Rector of the National University of Pedagogy of Uzbekistan.

Previously, she was relieved from her position as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Education Reform, which she held since July 2025.

Earlier, Hilola Umarova served as Minister of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan from late 2023 until 2025.
