High-Pressure Commercial Gas Flow Obtained from Well No. 2 in Muynak

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A high-pressure commercial inflow of natural gas has been recorded from exploration and appraisal well No. 2 in the Muynak district of Karakalpakstan, Uzbekneftegaz reported.

The well, drilled to its planned depth of 5,000 meters in 90 days using modern foreign equipment, was completed by qualified specialists of Uzneftgaz Burgilash Ishlari LLC, a subsidiary of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

The well is currently producing about 2.4 million cubic meters of natural gas per day.

In parallel, round-the-clock drilling continues at other promising deep wells in the district.

These wells are also expected to begin delivering high-pressure commercial gas by the end of the year, which will significantly boost production volumes in the region.
