Health Ministers of Uzbekistan and Türkiye Visit Samarkand Cardiology Center

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Within the framework of the II Congress of Oncologists of Turkic States held in Samarkand, the Minister of Health of Uzbekistan, Asilbek Khudayarov, and the Minister of Health of Türkiye, Kemal Memişoğlu, visited branches of the Digital Health Center and the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Cardiology.

During the first stage of the visit, the guests were introduced to modern digital programs being implemented in Uzbekistan, including the DMED electronic information portal. The platform provides a unified digital infrastructure for patient monitoring, diagnostic organization, and treatment management, while showcasing software solutions designed to enhance the efficiency of medical processes.

The ministers then visited the cardiology center branch, where the operations of the department for acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular pathologies were presented. They observed measures for the early detection, prevention, and treatment of strokes and heart attacks, as well as the results of care provided in accordance with modern clinical protocols and a multidisciplinary approach.

At the conclusion of the visit, the officials inspected the waiting area facilities designed to ensure maximum comfort for the relatives of patients.
