Head of Uzbek State Competition Committee holds talks with Kazakh envoy

Chairperson of the Uzbek committee presented the privatization programme and novelties in the sphere of privatization and corporate management, as well as protection of investor rights.

During the meeting, the sides discussed ways of deepening of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Ambassador Utembaev expressed interest in privatization process and underlined necessity to attract Kazakh businesses to the privatization programme. It was noted that investors are interested in such spheres as chemistry, tourism, construction materials, financial spheres, etc.

The sides also determined concrete measures on strengthening cooperation via boosting contacts at the level of state department and businesses.
