Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - By a Government resolution, Abdugappor Karimjonovich Kirgizbaev was appointed as head of the Department for the Development of the State Language.

Department was established by the resolution of the President from 21 October 2019. The development of the state language, monitoring compliance with the legislation on the state language, the introduction of effective forms of public control in this area are considered the main tasks of the Department.
