Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 October 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hamid Nayyerabadi.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, at the meeting, it was noted that at present, constructive and dynamic relations have developed between Uzbekistan and Iran aimed at further developing cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

Special attention was paid to enhancing cooperation in trade-economic, investment, transport-communication and tourism fields, opening direct air links between Tashkent and Tehran.

Following the meeting, the Minister wished the Ambassador success in his work in a high and responsible post.
