Hamid Ansari holds talks at Senate, Legislative Chamber
During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on various directions of cooperation between parliaments of Uzbekistan and India. The inter-parliamentary cooperation between two states play key role in strengthening legal base of cooperation, UzA reported.
Hamid Ansari underlined that people of Uzbekistan and India have been cooperating for a long time. Currently, Uzbek-Indian cooperation is developing in all areas, he said. He said India is for developing mutual beneficial cooperation.
Indian delegation also held negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan.
Hamid Ansari also visited Mustaqillik Square and lain a wreath at the Monument of Independence and Humanism.
Uzbekistan and India set the most favourable trade regime. Currently, 62 joint ventures with Indian capital work in Uzbekistan. Some 18 companies have offices in Uzbekistan.
