Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Aerial gymnast from Uzbekistan Kristina Vorobyova, who fell from a 10-meter height in January this year during a circus performance in Amsterdam (Netherlands), will be able to walk on crutches already at the end of April.
This was announced by her physiotherapist Mireille Pont (Hire van Nederland).
“The recovery process was very intensive. When Kristina was admitted to the hospital, she could only move her feet, ”M. Pont said. The doctor suggested that the gymnast could still walk on crutches, and for a full recovery she would need about two more years.
In early January, during a performance at the World Christmas Circus show in Amsterdam (Netherlands), acrobats of the duet from Uzbekistan “Sky Angels” Kristina Vorobyova and Rustem Osmanov fell from a 10-meter height. The artists were promptly delivered to one of the Netherlands medical centers - Academic Medical Center.
Rustem Osmanov escaped with relatively light injuries - he was diagnosed with concussion, minor bruises and one tooth was knocked out.
