Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou hosted a meeting with Jin Fu, Head of the Department of International Relations at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), the “Dunyo” Information Agency reports.

During the discussion, the Chinese side focused on the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, as well as prospects for cooperation in the fields of investment, economy, tourism, and culture.

The steady development of bilateral relations in all areas was highlighted. University representatives expressed readiness to implement joint projects and establish cooperation with Uzbek universities in science and education.

An agreement was reached for a delegation from the university, led by President Leo Ni, to visit Uzbekistan in September this year. The visit will include meetings and roundtables at leading higher education institutions in the country.
