GRP of Navoi region increases by 5.8%

The volume of industrial production grew by 17.1%, consumer goods production – 12.7%, construction works – by 11.7%, retail trade turnover – 14.8% and paid services – 16.1%.

Exports of products and services reached US$229.8 million. The regional export forecast was implemented with 8.5% surplus, the products for US$28.5 million were exported.

Some 1,024 projects for 121.1 billion soums were realized in the first half of 2016 in order to ensure social-economic development of the region.

Some 487 new small and private enterprises were registered in the reporting period. The commercial banks issued loans for 313 billion soums to organization of businesses.
