Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Decree of the President "On measures to mitigate the coronavirus pandemic, radically improve the system of sanitary and epidemiological well-being and health protection of the population", a procedure is being introduced to provide home care to patients infected with coronavirus infection by rural medical centers, family polyclinics and central multidisciplinary polyclinics.

According to the decree:

- in the context of each family polyclinic, certain houses are assigned to general practitioners and patronage nurses, general supervision is carried out by the chief doctors of family polyclinics;

- in each district (city) medical association, groups are formed for selection and evacuation, monitoring and control over the process of treating patients, consisting of experienced doctors;

The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of regions and the city of Tashkent in each district (city) medical association establishes a communication system that provides an opportunity for operational consultations between primary care doctors and district (city) medical associations and the correct assessment of the condition of patients.

- every day, the chief doctors of family polyclinics, by phone or by video communication online, transmit to the coordinator for family polyclinics of the district (city) medical association information about the number of asymptomatic patients in whom the disease is mild, persons who have been in contact with them, and the dynamics of the course of the disease in patients, receiving medical procedures;

- in case of revealing negative changes in the dynamics of the state of patients undergoing treatment at home, the chief doctors of family polyclinics contact mobile groups and take measures to hospitalize patients in medical institutions run by district (city) medical associations.
