Gross regional product of Syrdarya region exceeds 2.06 trln. soums

Gross regional product of Syrdarya region made up 2.066 trillion soums in January-September 2015. This was announced at the session of local Council.
The industrial output of the region rose by 8.6%, agriculture production – 7.4%, construction works – 1.3%, retail trade turnover – 20.4%, all services – 15.7% and regional exports – 13.1%.
Share of small businesses in the gross regional product made up 73.7% and services – 33.6%.
In nine months of 2015, number of joint ventures in the region reached 68. They produced goods for 204.9 billion soums and exported products for US$36 million.
In the reporting period, some 123 industrial enterprises were launched in the region and their number reached 1,126. They produced industrial goods for 914 billion soums.
Number of small businesses in Syrdarya region rose by 716 and reached to 7,222 units.
