Green Energy Forum is created in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The National Energy-Saving Company (NEC) jointly with the Alternative Energy Club and support of the Association of International Business and Technologies (AMBiT) organized the Green Energy Forum to strengthen the companies’ energy saving business, and popularization of alternative energy sources and rational use of energy resources.

Uzbekistan is adopting measures to introduce energy efficient and saving technologies via introducing modern technologies, as well as save electricity and natural gas.

The measures are aimed at developing the energy sector, which is one of the most important factors for sustainable socio-economic growth, increasing business activity and investment attractiveness of the country, living standards and welfare of the population.

Thanks to the initiatives of JSC "NEC", Alternative Energy Club and AMBiT, it was decided to create a platform for the business environment - Green Energy Forum and on its basis to connect the business processes of companies engaged in energy saving.

“Our goal is to allow an open talk about the state of the industry: about the problems and successfully implemented projects, innovative approaches to solving the tasks. Also, Green Energy Forum is an active tool for attracting investments in the energy sector,” Sherzod Kattakhodjaev, Deputy General Director of NEC said.

Experts from the international practice of energy saving projects management will speak at the Business Forum. In addition, the leading companies of Uzbekistan will present national operating facilities that optimized the consumable item of energy consumption.

Representatives of relevant state organizations, municipal service employees, environmental experts and other participants of the business forum are also expected.
