Grand contest “Obod Uyim” starts in Uzbekistan
The organizers said that the winners will be awarded in Tashkent at the end of 2013.
The NGOs and other civil institutes can participate in the grant contest with their projects directed at improving social infrastructure in rural areas, solving social issues, repairing roads, improving sanitary conditions, construction of children play grounds, etc.
The projects can be also directed at improving ecologic situation in places, installing alternative sources of energy, assisting to develop family and private businesses, craftsmanship, improving education quality, creating new jobs, promoting healthy lifestyle, and others.
The organizers said that the maximum sum of the grant cannot exceed 15 million soums. The project directed at developing social partnership will have advantage.
The applications will be accepted till 20 September 2013.
