Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the new Military Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan in 2018/19 and 2019/20 academic years, students of the fifth and fourth courses will be completed under the current curriculum.
The third, second and first year students enrolled at the Special Faculty of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarzmi in 2016, 2017 and 2018 respectively, will be carried out in the direction of education “Telecommunication Technologies” based on TATU, and from 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 academic years, respectively, on the basis of the Military Institute.
Starting from the 2022/23 academic year, the selection of candidates for training at the Military Institute will be carried out on a competitive basis from among students, who have completed the third year of higher engineering and technical educational institutions of the republic, who have shown the best results on the basis of training, who expressed a desire to continue their studies at the Military Institute military service under the contract, as well as fit for health reasons for military service.
The resolution determines that training in this military institute is equal to military service, carried out in the manner specified by the Regulations on the procedure for military service by citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Graduates of the military institute will be given the military rank of “lieutenant” and will be issued a state diploma.
