Govn’t approves regulation on order of conducting ecologic control

According to the document, the objects of ecologic control are:

- land, its entrails, water, flora and fauna, air;

- natural and man-made sources of environmental impact;

- activity, action or inaction, which may cause environmental pollution and unsustainable use of natural resources, posing a threat to life and health of citizens.

The forms of state ecologic control are inspection of implementation of requirements of the legislation by individuals and legal entities on protection of environment and rational use of natural resources, realization of state and other ecologic programmes, monitoring of environment and state ecologic expertise.

The officials, who carry out state ecologic control, are banned to make economic or organizational order or interfere to activities of the business entities.

It is also banned to interfere or impact to activities of the officials, who conduct ecologic control, the document said.

The regulation sets order of conducing state ecologic control and legal bases of the state bodies, which conduct ecologic control n Uzbekistan.
