Govn’t approves order of connection of businesses to electricity, gas networks

The resolution was adopted to further simplify system of connection of business entities to electricity and gas networks.

According to the resolution, main directions on further improving system of connection of businesses to electricity and gas networks are:

• cardinal decreasing number of procedures, requiring direct participation of businesses entities at their connection to electricity and gas networks;
• - provide authorities to carry our all procedures, starting from receiving technical conditions to connection to electronic and gas networks, exploitation organizations on electricity and gas supply on turnkey bases.

The resolution set an order in line with which, the single centers on rendering state services to business entities on one-stop-shop principle at district (city) administrations will receive all necessary documents for connection of businesses to electricity and gas networks from 1 January 2016.

Electricity and gas supplying organizations carry out works on connection of businesses to electricity andgas networks on turnkey bases within the agreement.

Electricity and gas supplying organizations have right to attract specialized organizations at designing, construction-assembly and launch works at connection of businesses to electricity and gas networks.

It is banned to issue technical conditions to businesses, which sets requirements on construction, reconstruction and modernization of backbone networks for further connection to electricity and gas networks on turnkey bases. The Government approved a regulation on order of connection of business entities to electricity networks on turnkey bases and a regulation on order of connection of business entities to gas networks on turnkey bases.

The documents set order of connection of business entities to electricity and gas networks. The documents will come into force from 1 January 2016.
