Governor of Ferghana Region Visits Medical Equipment Production Facility in Türkiye and Signs Cooperation Memorandum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of his working visit to Türkiye, Governor of Ferghana Region Khayrullo Bozorov visited the company Medikal 2000 in the city of Konya and held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board, Necip Çimen.

Medikal 2000 is one of Türkiye’s leading manufacturers of medical products, specializing in equipment for intensive care and resuscitation units, medical furniture, and specialized electrotechnical devices.

The company exports its products to a number of countries, with Uzbekistan becoming its largest export destination over the past five years. Medikal 2000 has established itself as a reliable partner both in the domestic and regional medical equipment markets.

During the meeting, Necip Çimen also noted the company’s involvement in the construction of multi-storey residential buildings in Istanbul and Konya. Following the negotiations, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Medikal 2000 and the Uzbek company Biotest Medikal, headed by Azimjon Mirzaliyev.

Under the framework of a $25 million project, a modern multidisciplinary medical hospital is planned to be built in Ferghana.

Khayrullo Bozorov familiarized himself with Medikal 2000’s production processes and finished products, praised the company’s achievements in the healthcare sector, and welcomed the agreements reached on expanding bilateral cooperation.
