Governmental delegation of Uzbekistan visits Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant

The Uzbek delegation, in particular, visited the information center of the nuclear power plant, got acquainted with the social infrastructure of the city of Ostrovets, the activities of the training center and the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.

Representatives of Uzbekistan held talks with the Belarusian officials, during which they exchanged experience on the implementation of the Belarusian nuclear power program and construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.

In connection with the decision taken by the Government of Uzbekistan to build a nuclear power plant in the country, the experience of Belarus is of particular interest to the Uzbek side, the Belarusian Energy Ministry said.
