Government refuses to regulate the price of cottonseed oil, husks and meal of cotton seeds

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan ceases to regulate the price of cotton oil intended for socially vulnerable segments of the population and the formation of a state strategic reserve, implemented under direct contracts, as well as husks and meal of cotton seeds, the press service of the Ministry of Justice said.

In December 2018, the Ministry of Finance proposed to liberalize the prices of these goods.

The list of socially significant and strategic types of goods (services), prices (tariffs) for which are subject to state regulation, today includes gasoline, ethyl alcohol, mineral fertilizers, services for the removal of solid and liquid household waste and others.
