Government makes decision on use of state duties for biometric passports

In line with the document, 60% of state duties, received for issuing biometric passports of citizens of Uzbekistan and biometric travel documents for people without citizenship, will be directed to off-budget account of the State Personalization Center.

The resources, received to off-budget account of the State Personalization Center, will be used to purchase booklets for biometric passports and biometric travel documents.

The funds will be also used to purchase imported materials, used in production of biometric documents and part of the documents, imported spare parts for repairing of the equipment, used for production of biometric passports, servicing equipment and software of biometrical passport system.

Balance of the off-budget account of the Center will be directed to income of the state budget at the end of the calendar year, the document said.
