Government extended validity period of non-biometric passports

The Government of Uzbekistan extended the validity period of old (non-biometric) passports in the country until 31 December 2019. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice.
The Cabinet of Ministers issued a corresponding resolution on 30 June.
The document said that non-biometric passports will be considered valid until the end of the expiry date indicated in the documents.
