Government Approves “Builders of the New Uzbekistan” Badge for Talented Youth
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Government of Uzbekistan has approved the regulations governing the badge “Yangi Oʻzbekiston Bunyodkorlari” (“Builders of the New Uzbekistan”).
The document establishes the procedure for nominating candidates and awarding outstanding young people who have demonstrated high achievements in education, creativity, and professional training.
Under the regulations, the list of candidates is formed within the Community for the Support of Gifted Youth and includes scholarship holders of the El-yurt umidi Foundation for training promising professionals, graduates of Presidential Schools and Yangi Uzbekistan University, participants of the “President’s Gifted Children” initiative and its national support program, as well as talented compatriots who have received education and professional experience at prestigious universities and organizations worldwide.
Each year, by 25 March, a working group consolidates the submitted documentation and prepares conclusions on the most deserving candidates in line with established criteria. Based on these conclusions, the materials are submitted to the Republican Commission for the implementation and oversight of the “President’s Gifted Children” initiative.
The Republican Commission makes the final decision on awarding the badge annually by 20 May. The award ceremony is held during the congress of the Community for the Support of Gifted Youth. The badge is intended to encourage talented young people and support the development of a new generation of highly qualified professionals, contributing to the construction of a New Uzbekistan.
