Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Golden House Property Group has released an official statement in response to a publication by the Competition Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and subsequent public discussions in the media and on social networks concerning certain provisions of the company’s standard contract.
In its statement, the company emphasized that a number of media reports have conflated two separate contractual clauses with distinct legal purposes. One clause regulates compensation to the developer in cases where the buyer unilaterally terminates the contract, while the other concerns the dissemination of deliberately false information that could harm the company’s business reputation.
Golden House clarified that the contractual provision cited in the Competition Committee’s publication is intended solely to protect the company’s commercial secrets and reputation from false information. It does not restrict clients’ rights to file legitimate complaints, appeals, or constructive criticism.
The company further noted that no penalties are imposed on clients for any lawful actions, and reaffirmed its full compliance with Uzbekistan’s legal framework, including regulations safeguarding the rights of customers and partners.
The statement also underscored that Golden House maintains open communication with regulators and government authorities to ensure accurate interpretation of contractual provisions and remains committed to constructive dialogue with the public and the media.
“Protecting our clients’ rights has always been, and will remain, the company’s unconditional priority. We appreciate the fair and objective coverage of our position in the media and social networks,” the statement concluded.
