Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Kitco experts have compiled a rating of the leading deposits in gold production for 2020.

The Muruntau mine in Navoi region of Uzbekistan took first place. The mine recovered 2 million ounces, or almost 57 tons of gold.

According to experts, the reserves of the mine exceed 150 million ounces, which will allow Muruntau to retain its status as the largest deposit in the world in the near future.

The second place was taken by the Karlin mine in the USA and the third place - by the Russian Olympiad.
