GM Uzbekistan to launch production of three cars

Uzbekistan and South Korea inked investment agreements on implementation of nine projects in automobile industry in the result of the Uzbek-Korean Business Forum, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said. The cost of projects and the sum of agreements were not reported.

In particular, GM Uzbekistan will implement project on organization of production of three new global models of automobiles. Earlier, it was reported that GM Uzbekistan will launch production of Т250 (Aveo) model.

GM Powertrain Uzbekistan will start production of new generation automobile engines. It is also planned to organize production of transmissions and spare parts for automobiles in Uzbekistan.
