GM Uzbekistan to launch production of rescue vehicles
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
GM Uzbekistan, an Uzbek-US joint venture, will launch production of rescue automobiles based on Damas mini-buses, the press service of Uzavtosanoat said.
The specially equipped rescue automobiles are developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan and GM Uzbekistan.
The car will be able to transport five persons and all necessary equipment and tools, required for rescue works.
According to the company, the enterprise will launch production of rescue vehicles in 2016.
Uzavtosanoat said that there are 17 rescue divisions across Uzbekistan and each of them need 2-3 such automobiles.
