GM Uzbekistan to launch production of crossover and mini-van

The company will launch first of three new models in the middle of 2016 and it will be sedan of Nexia model of next generation, autoconsulting.com.ua reported.

After two years, Uzbekistan-based car marker will launch new updated model of Gentra, which is based on old Chevrolet Lacetti, the article said.

The carmaker plans to introduce changes to exterior and interior of Gentra, but did not provided details of re-styling, the website said.

By 2017, the enterprise is planning to launch mini-van and hatchback of B-class, which can compete with Datsun mi-Do.

After 2018, the company is planning to launch production of budget crossover, the report of Ukrainian website said.

GM Uzbekistan will organize production of automobile of T250 model. The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution on implementation of the project on 11 September 2014.
