GM Uzbekistan to assembly cars in Kazakhstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- GM Uzbekistan will launch assembly production of automobiles in Kazakhstan in March 2017. This was announced at the joint intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

The assembly capacities will be created on the base of the Kazakh company SaryarkaAutoProm.

Initially, the plant’s capacity will allow to produce 7,000 Ravon Nexia R3 automobiles a year. In future, the plant will launch assembly of Spark automobiles.

It was noted that Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan started to work on organization of assembly of trucks of JV MAN Avto Uzbekistan, buses and trucks of SamAuto.
