GM Uzbekistan sells over 4,530 cars in 1Q 2016

GM Uzbekistan sold 4,532 automobiles in Russia in the first quarter of 2016, which fell by 16% year-on-year, the Committee of automobile producers of the Association of European Business said.
Dealers of GM Uzbekistan realized 1,677 cars in March 2016, which decreased by 5% compared to March 2015 and 5.7% more compared to February 2016.
Share of the venture in the Russian made up 1.4% in January-March 2016, which did not change compared to the same period of 2015, the committee noted.
In the first quarter of 2016, GM Uzbekistan claimed the 19th place on the volume of sold cars in Russia.
Gentra, produced at GM Uzbekistan, was among the 25 best selling cars in Russia in the reporting period. GM Uzbekistan sold 3,308 automobiles in the first three months of 2016 against 3,090 cars in the same period of 2015.
