Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- GM Uzbekistan has sold more than 1,000 vehicles of the Chevrolet Tracker model since 10 December  2018. This was announced during the presentation of the crossover Chevrolet Tracker in the city of Nurafshon, Tashkent region.

GM Uzbekistan started selling the Chevrolet Tracker crossover on 10 December 2018. In 10 days, more than 1000 cars were sold.

The deputy chairman of Uzavtosanoat for development and marketing, Umidjan Salimov, said during the event that the company had produced more than 2,000 Chevrolet Tracker crossovers in two months. According to him in 2019, the volume of production will be increased to 10,000-12,000 units.

Umidjan Salimov underlined that at the first stage GM Uzbekistan will carry out the SKD assembly of the Chevrolet Tracker. There will be talks with GM, he added.

A top manager at Uzavtosanoat stressed that the Chevrolet Tracker crossover will be supplied only to the domestic market for the time being.

GM Uzbekistan offers the Chevrolet Tracker in two levels. Tracker LT M/T retail price is more than 184.3 million soums and Premier A/T - more than 215.6 million soums.
