GM Uzbekistan resumes production of automobiles

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- GM Uzbekistan, an Uzbek-US joint venture, resumed production of automobiles at its plant in Asaka city (Andijan region), the press service of the company said on 5 September 2016.

On 8 August, GM Uzbekistan started to carry out its annual planned maintenance works at its Asaka plant.

The statement of the company said that annual planned maintenance works at GM Uzbekistan in Asaka city was carried out in August 2016.

The company said that it successfully completed all maintenance works and the plant launched its production line.

Currently, the plant works in ordinary mode in line with planned parameters, GM Uzbekistan said.
