GM Uzbekistan exports automobiles for US$1.3 million to Tajikistan

GM Uzbekistan is carrying out a large-scale activity on consistent development of partnership between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. In 2017, the Uzbek car was first introduced in Tajikistan within the framework of Made in Uzbekistan exhibition and Uzbekistan – Tajikistan joint business forum in Dushanbe.

According to SC “Uzavtosanoat”, last September, a centralized Ravon car showroom was opened in Tajikistan and the sale of Uzbek cars Damas, Labo, Spark, Cobalt, Gentra and Nexia began.

So far, Uzbekistan-made automobiles worth more than US$1.3 million have been exported to a neighboring country. In addition, it is planned to open several more car showrooms in other regions of Tajikistan.
