GM Powertrain-Uzbekistan produces its 500,000th engine
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
On 24 November, GM Powertrain-Uzbekistan (GMPT-Uz) produced its 500,000th engine. In honor of this milestone, the plant organized a celebration for employees and partners.
A special gift, a T-shirt with the 500,000th engine’s picture, was presented to all employees the day before to make this event more memorable for them.
The celebration started with the delivery of the engine from the assembly line. To the loud applause of employees, the 500,000th engine was transferred to the GSC area, where employees and guests had gathered.
GMPT-Uz General Director Jennifer Bigelow highlighted the milestone’s importance for GMPT-Uz. Employees and guests participated in a group photo session and signed the engine.
