German President to visit Uzbekistan in May

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit Uzbekistan in May 2019, newspaper Khalq So’zi reported.

According to the newspaper, it was announced during a round table "Actual issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany."

The event was organized by the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Relations with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be recalled that in January 2019, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited Frank-Walter Steinmeier to visit Uzbekistan. The Federal President announced his readiness to visit our country in the spring of this year.
