German Investors Show Interest in Ferghana Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An international webinar titled "Business Opportunities in Ferghana" was held with the support of the Ferghana Regional Administration, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany, and the German Chamber of Commerce Abroad.

During the event, participants were provided with detailed information on the region's steady economic growth, the establishment of industrial zones, reforms carried out to improve the business climate, and the favorable conditions on offer for foreign investors.

Particular emphasis was placed on the broad international promotion of Ferghana Region's economic potential, the showcasing of investment opportunities, and the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners.

Prospects were discussed for establishing joint ventures based on German technologies, expanding the region's export potential, and gaining access to European markets. German business circles spoke highly of Ferghana Region's investment climate and expressed practical interest in a number of promising projects.

Following the webinar, the parties agreed to continue strengthening business ties, provide comprehensive support for foreign investor proposals, and identify specific areas and stages for future cooperation.
