German delegation meets young NAESMI journalists
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of Germany paid a visit to multimedia TV complex Bunyodkor in Tashkent to meet young journalists. The visit was organized by the National Association of Electronic Mass Media along with the foreign and local partners.
The delegation of Germany included chairperson of the Parliament of the Free State of Saxony Matthias Rößler, a member of the board of Konrad Adenauer Foundation Dieter Althaus, Deputy Secretary-General of the Foundation Gerhard Wahlers and head of the Kondrad Adenauer Foundation Office for Central Asia Thomas Kunze.
The guests familiarized with the projects of NAESMI, participated in trainings for journalists and communicated with creative groups.
Konrad Adenauer Foundation currently is marking its 20th anniversary of its operations in Uzbekistan. In 2010, the German foundation and NAESMI signed a memorandum. Within the cooperation, the sides organized various trainings, master classes, media camps, media forums, etc.
Gerhard Wahlers said that mass media should be objective and journalists should work on their skills. He said that he is happy that NAESMI regularly works on improving skills of journalists.
Thomas Kunze said that during 20 years, Konrad Adenauer Foundation realized many projects and it contributes to improving skills of the journalists.
