German delegation holds talks at MFERIT

Wilhelm Oettingen arrived in Tashkent to participate in international conference “About main food programme implementation of reserves in Uzbekistan” (5-6 June 2014).

During the meeting, the sides considered issues of expanding mutual beneficial trade-economic and investment relations between two countries, through active promotion of high technological projects at the level of businesses, introduction of energy efficient, energy saving and ecological technologies, including in the sphere of sustainable development of rural territories.

Wilhelm Oettingen highly rated sustainable economic growth of Uzbekistan, which serves for expansion of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.

The sides reached agreement on organization of the visit of business circles of Lower Saxony to Uzbekistan to develop concrete spheres of bilateral cooperation.

He expressed his gratitude to the Government of Uzbekistan for invitation to participate in Tashkent conference dedicated to global food security.
