Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Regarding the detention of a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdullayev Bobomurod on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan reports:

At the request of the Uzbek side, in accordance with the Minsk Convention "On Legal Assistance in Civil, Family and Criminal Cases" from 22 January 1993, B. Abdullaev was detained by law enforcement agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Currently, the issue of his extradition to the Republic of Uzbekistan is being resolved.
