Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 May 2020, a videoconference was held on the topic “Women’s Achievements in the Development of Science, Education, Culture and Innovative Technologies”.

The online video conference is organized by the Commission on Gender Equality of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Jizzakh Region Office for Support of the Mahalla and the Family, and the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.

The event was attended by the faculty of universities, deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, members of the working group of the Commission on Gender Equality of the Republic of Uzbekistan, doctoral students of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, employees of the Republican Scientific and Research Center “Oila”.

During the videoconference it was talked about increasing the role of women in the application of innovative technologies for the development of science, education, culture and entrepreneurship, supporting their activities, strengthening the role of family and society.

The issues of using information and communication technologies in the fields of architecture and construction, industry, energy, economics and transport, protecting women from oppression and violence were also discussed in detail, according to which relevant recommendations were developed.
