Gazprom plans to purchase 5bn cubic meters of gas from Uzbekistan in 2017

According to the data, Gazprom purchased 6.2 billion cubic meters of gas from Uzbekistan in 2016. It is planned to buy 5 billion cubic meters of gas in 2017.

Gazprom is holding consultations on signing a medium-term contract for the purchase of Uzbek gas and continues to work developing technical task for the feasibility study on the development of the Zhel field on the terms of the PSA, the documents note.
