Gazprom plans to procure 15bn cubic meters of gas from Asia in 2016

Answering to corresponding question, he said : “We are planning to purchase about 15 billion cubic meters f gas.”

Gazprom Export decreased purchase of natural gas from Turkmenistan from 1 January 2016 and increased purchase of gas from Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek and Russian sides reached agreement on purchase of the Uzbek gas at the end of 2015. The purchase of the Uzbek gas in 2016 can exceed 3.1 billion cubic meters, which is the volume of purchased gas from Turkmenistan in 2015.
