Gayane Umerova Meets Head of Russia’s Agency for Strategic Initiatives

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General of Russia’s Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

During the talks, the sides discussed the preparation and participation of the Uzbek delegation in the International Conference on the Creative Economy, scheduled for 8–9 October 2025 in Saint Petersburg.

Special attention was given to developing Uzbek-Russian cooperation in the creative industries, including the creation and promotion of creative parks, clusters, and cities, drawing on international experience and UNESCO standards.
