Gasoline stations of Tashkent receive up to 1,800 tonnes of petroleum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Gasoline stations of Tashkent city receive 1,600-1,800 tonnes of petroleum a day, Gazeta.uz reported quoting newspaper Toshkent Haqiqati (Tashkent Truth).

Chief technologist of Tashkent city branch Uzgosneftegazinspektsii (Uzbek State Oil and Gas Inspection) Umidjon Tulaev noted that the need of the population of Tashkent is 1,200 tonnes.

He said that employees of gasoline stations were instructed not to fill full tank of cars, which are equipped with gas equipment for security reason.

If the automobile has gas equipment, its driver must purchase gasoline at a level sufficient to get to the gas station, Umidjon Tulaev said.

He said that some petroleum stations were closed for 10 days for violation of agreement conditions and shortages on supply of gasoline.
