Gas prices to rise in Uzbekistan from 15 August

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Gasoline prices will rise in Uzbekistan from 15 August 2019.

On 30 July, the government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On changing prices and tariffs for fuel and energy resources”.

According to the document, the price of gasoline brand AI-80 from 15 August will grow from 4,000 to 4,500 soums per liter.

Gasoline AI-91 will be sold through exchange trading. Now the retail price is 4500 soums.

From 15 August, the cost of one liter of diesel fuel will be 5,400 soums versus 4,800 soums and ECO diesel fuel — 5,700 soums versus 4,900 soums.

The government of Uzbekistan has established the amount of payment of a monthly monetary compensation of a part of expenses on the purchase of gasoline to certain categories of persons defined by law in the amount of 74 thousand soums (now 66,700 soums).
