Gas and Oil Production in Uzbekistan Declines in January–July 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–July 2025, Uzbekistan produced 25.37 billion cubic meters of natural gas, a 3.4% decrease compared to the same period in 2024, according to the National Statistics Committee.
A similar trend was observed in the oil sector: over the seven-month period, the country produced 378.8 thousand tons of crude oil, 10.8% less than in the previous year.
At the same time, coal production increased — 3.86 million tons were extracted, up 11% compared to the same period in 2024.
Automobile gasoline production totaled 667 thousand tons, down 15.7% from the January–July 2024 period.
Meanwhile, diesel fuel output rose, reaching 672.9 thousand tons, a 7.8% increase compared to the same period last year.
