Galatasaray Defeats Istanbul Başakşehir in Turkish Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Istanbul Başakşehir suffered a 0:1 defeat against Galatasaray in a Turkish Cup match. The only goal was scored by Kutucu, who converted a pass from Sane.

The game was evenly contested, with very few open spaces. Both teams acted cautiously, seeking to avoid positional errors. Eldor Shomurodov had a clear opportunity before halftime but failed to beat the goalkeeper and equalize.

In the second half, Başakşehir tried to increase the pressure. On the 64th minute, Abbosbek Fayzullaev was brought on to add pace to the visitors’ attacking play. However, they were unable to create significant chances, and Galatasaray comfortably held on to secure the win.

Shomurodov was substituted in the 72nd minute, and Başakşehir could not turn the game around.
