Futsal: Japan Secures Convincing Win Over Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The national futsal teams of Uzbekistan and Japan played a friendly match in Tashkent ahead of the Asian Cup qualifiers.

The Japanese team, four-time Asian champions, demonstrated their dominance and claimed a convincing 4-1 victory.

Uzbekistan’s only goal was scored by Husniddin Nishonov in the 9th minute. Japan’s goals came from Yusei Arai (4th and 36th minutes) and Shunta Uchimura (8th and 24th minutes).

Both teams are now preparing for their respective qualification matches for the continental championship. Japan will play against Tajikistan, Cambodia, and Macau in Dushanbe from September 20 to 24, while Nodir Eliboev’s Uzbekistan squad will face Kyrgyzstan, East Timor, and Palestine in Bishkek.
